Make normal maps with existing textures if possible.

Edit the multiplier to be completely recolorable if possible, which means adjusting and taking other swatches to get a texture that can be greyed out at the best quality.

Adjust the UV and make all the pieces fit.

make the mesh fit the body as best as possible.

Personally, I have a few things I have to clear up before being “done” and this is usually how it all goes: It’ll take me a handful of hours to days (lowkey years if you take forever on stuff 😅) depending on the difficulty level.

The presets are out of order, so custom Thumb does not reflect the color it is and alllll that.

Has custom morphs to prevent any body slider clipping.

As always there might be clipping and stretching with poses, animations, and certain sliders.
